Philosophy

Foot and ankle problems can significantly impact daily life, causing pain and limiting mobility. Maintaining an active, mobile lifestyle is crucial for overall well-being, especially as we age. My approach to treatment begins with a thorough history and physical examination to understand your specific needs and expectations. I utilize advanced diagnostic tools, including X-rays, ultrasound, CT, MRI, and nuclear medicine, as necessary.

Once I have a clear understanding of your diagnosis and circumstances, I will recommend the most appropriate course of action. This may involve surgery, but often, non-surgical options such as physical therapy or reassurance are sufficient.

For those requiring surgery, my goal is to ensure a reliable procedure with a swift return to weight-bearing activity. Modern surgical techniques have advanced to support early weight-bearing and movement, which are vital for recovery.

I am committed to ongoing training and research to stay at the forefront of developments in foot and ankle surgery. This dedication allows me to provide the best possible outcomes for my patients, enabling them to return to the activities that matter most in their lives.
