Matthew is a fellowship trained Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in shoulder and knee. Born in Gippsland, Matthew grew up in Melbourne and attained his medical degree at the University of Melbourne in 1992. He subsequently completed his Orthopaedic Surgery training in Victoria, becoming a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2002.
